I was going through the pictures of my craft creations that I had clicked but not shared with you all.. And here is the one i found … Well my friend had to gift his friend a Scrapbook.. He had completed it all by himself but was a bit confused on the cover so I had helped him out here.. So this is what we came up with after lots of brain storming..

His Friends name started with G.. So we used the Fery letter G.. The frame background and the alphabet are the freebies from a digital site whose name I have forgotten .. But they had some lovely stuff.. So if any of u know it do contact me and share me the name .. The flowers and butterflies are punched out on marble papers and swirls are hand cut.. Well first of all sorry for being away for such a long time from the blogland.. But then I had a lot to do in such a little span that actually I was running from here and there to complete my work.. First of all I had one of my closest cousin coming back to India after long time hence had to create something good for him and at the same time spend most of the weekend which I get free with him .. So well I accomplished that task and then we all cousins were off to a trip to Goa.. It was awesome fun, one of the best trips I had till date .. Well then I was busy completing some of the craft orders for my friends as it was the occasion of Valentines day .. Well so I have loads and loads of crafting projects to share with you.. Hopefully I will upload them soon.. But enough of chit chat and here is the one coming for you..

Well this is a card which I made for a friend, who wanted to gift it to his girlfriend.. He is also a creative types and makes some beautiful cards which sometimes makes me feel amazed.. That people can create such beautiful cards with such less stuff.. But me well I need to have all the crafting stuff which could possibly be in my reach.. Yes I like to hoard things and collect them whether I want them or not .. So back to the topic of card .. The cute boy image you see here is from Whiff of Joy.. I just love this little guy perfect for a sweetheart card.. The sentiment stamps some are from Micia, W9 and some as usual I forgot .. Well so the inspiration of this card was a photo challenge from ICR here -

A small scrapbook

Well this is a small scrapbook made using the video Kathryn posted on to you tube here.. I just love making scrapbooks now .. Well I wanted to keep tis scrapbook quiet male and hence decided to give it a worn look.. This entire scrapbook started on white paper except the inside of the book.. I distressed all the pages to get the desired look using Tim Holtz Distress inks.. On the front I have used Black soot and on the tag I have used Frayed Burlap.. Also I have binded the flower using an eyelet and some twine looking thread.. Then I have stamped the Inkadinkado Stamp set and colored it using sparkle pens.. Inside I have used some grey papers from Stash.. And have made the simple rectangle for tags to keep the masculine bold look.. I have distressed the tags using Broken China, Worn Lipstick, Peeled Paint, Spiced Marmalade, Dusty Concord and Spun Sugar.. Then I sprinkled some acrylic paints on the.. For the pockets I have again distressed using Black soot and stamped the Inkadinkado Stamp set and colored it with sparkle pen.. The back I have repeated the same process .. So here are the pictures –

Accordin Mini Album

Well here are some of the photos of the album that I have made to gift it to someone.. The inspiration behind this album and most of my other albums is Laura.. You can check her site here.. This album was actually started before two months and is completed except the first page… Because I got stuck in other albums.. Hopefully I should be able to complete this album in another 15 – 20 days.. Hello peeps.. First of all to all my readers in India a very Happy Makar Sakrant.. I just love this festival .. Secondly I would like to share with all of u a little something about my site.. Exploding Box

Well I always wanted to make an Exploding Box but always due to some reason or other was not able to make one.. This weekend was free and thought why not make one.. So here is what I made ..

The paper I have used here are Echo Park Papers.. Have distressed the edges using Tim Holtz Black Soot.. Then added the Fevicryl sparkles to the border and went a little overboard .. The ribbon flower is made using the the tutorial shared by E.T whose blog you can check here.. I find here creations very beautiful especially her flowers .. Then added some heart stones to make the flower on the ribbon.. I hope u all liked it

Well this is my first try at the baby card.. Because honestly I never got an opportunity to make one.. So when I did get an opportunity I jumped on it and here is what I came up with ..

I got the template from Becky’s blog here .. I found it to be the simplest and enjoyed making it .. Then I stamped the paper using my Hero Arts Magical Background Stamp.. Then I added the punched paper using MS Doily Lace Punch.. Then added some ribbons and rhinstones from stash

Well I like to make my own patterned paper and then use them to give an entirely unique look to my cards.. So here is the look of the papers ..

So what I did was -

For the left side papers I embossed the paper and then colored it using pearl acrylic paint which is very cool but unfortunately cannot be seen in the picture.. Then I distressed them using Tim Holtz Inks.. For the right side papers I simply Distressed the papers using Tim Holtz Inks.. I hope I have inspired u guys to try out some of your own and do share it with me guys I would love to see them

New Card made using distressing

Well I was just trying out new backgrounds using Distressing and acrylic painting on embossed papers which I will share with you guys soon.. Using one of those backgrounds I made this card ..

what I did is -

Embossed the paper using Cuttlebug Embossing folders and then Distressed it using various Tim Holtz Colors – Broken China, Dusty Concord, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade and Peeled Paint.. And then I worned it on the edges and distressed using Black Soot.. Then I took a twine and wound it around a tag and added all these to black card stock.. Then I embossed the sentiment on the tag using white embossing powder. .Added some rhinstones from my stash to give the final touch..

Well I just saw glitter techniques on Tejal’s blog on how to use pixie dust powder to create some amazing stuff.. I haven’t bought those yet but I wanted to give it a try using the normal glittery powder which I could get easily .. So what I did was I stamped my butterfly and went on adding glue and glitter powder’s one by one.. I just love the way butterfly has turned out.. Then I took MY Tim Holtz alteration Sizzix alphabet die and added glue and then the glitter.. For the base I took my cardstock and added white pearl acrylic paint on certain portions.. Then I distressed it using Stormy Sky and Chipped Sapphire distress inks ..

New card made using Embossing Technique

Well here is a new card I made using my latest embossing colors by combining the Silver, Copper and Gold Embossing powder. Then I used white embossing powder to stamp the sentiment using White Embossing powder.. I used the twine from my stash.. So here is the look at what I made ..

At ICR there was this year end gift swap which I had participated in.. IN the swap u r supposed to recieve a gift from Secret someone which according to me adds more mystery to the gift and makes the process quiet fun.. So today itself I was planning to send out mine gift but still left with some details so maybe by this weekend I am planning to send it out.. And something rellay beautiful arrived at my doorstep coaxing me to send out my gift ASAP too .. Yes my year end gift from Ash.. Ash let me tell u that I am totally in love with perfumes and can never have more and sandalwood is my weakness .. I just love the fragrance u sent me .. Well I just went to Hobby Ideas and got the crackle medium and was dying to use it .. Well I took a tag and colored the back with Black Acrylic color and then added crackle medium and added light coat of yellow acrylic paint.. Later on I took my Magnolia stamp and colored it to similar colors and added my Mulberry roses and added organza ribbon from my stash.. So here is the look at what I did ..

Well I am very excited to show u all today what I made for two reasons.. Firstly because this is the first time I have made something for Christmas and would really like to know how u people felt I made the project.. Secondly as those who read my posts know that I have gone crazy after having a look tat what Tim Holtz does with various coloring mediums be it Distress Inks, acrylic Paints, Perfect Pearls or Crackle Paints.. So u guessed it right I have made one more tag using Tim Holtz technique .. So here is the look at same -

What I did was -

I distressed the card stock using Tim Holtz Distress Inks – BrokenChina and DustyConcord .. Later on i took my fevicryl pearl color in a brush and flicked it on the tag randomly giving that night effect.. Then I took my Winter Birdy Digital Stamp from Spech Stamp colored it and cut it.. Later I took the ice glimmer 3D glitter from Fevicryl and applied it on the top of the tag and on the snow part porting of my digital image cutout.. Later on on the base of the tag I added some white Acrylic Color, let it dry and then added the ice glimmer to give more white snowy effect.. OPnce the glitterdried out I stuck my image and added black organza ribbon.. Hope u all like what I did because I just loved making it..

Well here is one more Tag made using Embossing Techniques.. These techniques were shown by Tim Holtz on his site here.. So here is the look at the same ..

What I did was -

I first painted the tag with black acrylic color.. Once it was dried up I took my music stamp from Victoria originals and embossed it with clear Embossing powder.. Once its cooled down I pained the entire aread with blue acrylic color.. Once its almost dried up I took a cloth and sprinkled water on it and then removed the excess blue paint.. The harder u clear the better U will be able to see the background.. After that I took the silver Frvicryl pearl color and applied it with the brush to give the shiny effect.. Then I added the butterfly cutout using Marianne Stencil and the alphabet using Sizzix Wallflower Die.. Then I added some rhinestone and pink organza ribbon from my stash

Well I was just browsing the site for Digital Stamps and came across this one site with cool stuff.. Yes I am talking about CreateMePink.. Just loved the images.. Also I wanted to now participate in their challenge this time which is Christmas Colors Challenge.. All you gotta do is use Red and Green in your creation.. So I made this lovely card specially for this challenge.. I hope the DT likes it .. Well so without further wait here is my card

Inside of it -

On to the front I did dry embossing using Marianne’s Stencil.. Then distressed it using Memento Lady Bug Red and Bamboo Leaves.. Then with black ink stamped the sentiment stamp which is from Studio G.. For the silver color I added some silver rhinestones which now a days I add them to all my projects because I just love them …Inside I kept it simple and just stamped an image from Victoria Originals.. The sentiment is hand written

Well first Pie Lane Challenge has been hosted here.. And up for the prize will be an amazing Pie Lane goodie bag.. Who doesn’t like Pie Lane.. I love their metallic butterflies and glitter balls which I have loads .. But I have not used them here.. I actually am not a blingy person and use them to the minimal.. So this challenge was really tough for me.. But I did go overboard with the same and was quiet satisfies with the results .. Well so here is the look at the same ..

As I said I dont have lots of glitter.. What I did was I took my Fevicryl Pearl Colors and applied it on the paper using my brayer to give it that shiny finish.. Then I stamped my Hero Arts Magical Background stamp which I just got yesterday and then added random glitter dots using Fevicryl glitter bottles.. Then I added rhinestones in the middle.. Well I always felt that using glitters will be too bold but it turned out just cool and one of my friend has asked me to save it for him .. So here are further closeups of the glitter ofcourse

Well today morning I had decided that anyhow I will learn distressing since I tried earlier and it did not come as great I had expected.. So I looked at Laura’s videos on the tags she did here.. They were so beautiful and in her video she explained the technique so skillfully that actually I realized it’s quiet simple and got on to make a tag of my own.. Here is the look at the same..

What i did was …

I took my inkessentials applicator and the foam pads for distress inks.. Then I used three Tim Holtz distress inks – Broken China, Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade.. The green and the purple is form due to the color overlaps and I just love the way it turned out .. then i dried it out using my iron which is my current supplement for the heat embossing tool (which I will order soon and ask my brother to bring one.. So brother if u are reading this.. U may gift it to me as my new year present.. Don’t worry I will send u the link ).. Well leaving that aside cos day by day my wishlist for crafting stuff is going bigger and more bigger .. Anyways what I did after the inks were dried up is using my Glycerin which is currently my alternative for Embossing Pads which I have ordered and yet are in transit.. Anyways I seem to sway away from the main topic a lot today.. What I did was I took Glycerin on my Scrub Pad and randomly applied throughout the tag and then applied clear embossing powder on it.. Then I heated it using the Iron.. That is how I got those granulated effect.. Do try it out guys its fun.. I loved it.. Then I stamped my Micia Butterfly and painted it with Fevicryl Pearl Colors and added a rhinestone and did some glittering with my silver pen.. I also stamped Hello I think its a StampinUp stamp but I am not sure.. Tada and the tag is ready..

I have added a ribbon to it.. So that I can hang it.. I want to hang this one in my room since this gives me a feel of Rainbow and I am sure will brighten my day whenever I am feeling low

Well I just got some Clear embossing powder from Hobby Ideas and was dying to try my hands on it .. But being in India I still had not invested in a heat gun and I am still waiting for my embossing pad to come.. So I was searching online for some alternatives to the same and came across Tejal’s link on the same and tried it.. The link is on Indian Craft Room here.. This time Indian Craft Room Challenge had Dots and/or Stripes as the papers to be used with a twist of adding a Tag to it.. There was some lovely work done by DT’s as an Inspiration to the Challenge.. You can check there creations here.. Well I added my own twist and made a suit Card .. Well I just got some new crating tools to play with from US.. this time I got Tim Holtz blending tool and was dying to use it.. So here is what I made using the technique.. I created a bookmark.. The inks used are Broken China, Worn Lipstick, Dusty Concord, Spiced Marmalade which are from Tim Holtz and Rich Cocoa for stamping from Memento.. The stamps are from W9 and Stamping up.. SO here is the look at it..
